As heard on the Fox All Access radio show this weekend: What do Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian have in common with Bill Murray, Jeff Bridges, and Jimmy Fallon?
They’ve all been spotted and photographed in bowling alleys, and that’s enough to get them in the running for a spot in the “celebrity wing” of the International Bowling Hall of Fame. NBA players Chris Paul and Dwight Howard, along with “NCIS” star Pauley Perrette, round out the field of nine, and the winner is determined by fan voting.
Although she got her start on a different network, Miranda Cosgrove has proven to be as adept a hyphenate as Disney’s teen queens. The “iCarly” actor has branched out into music, with a hit single (“Kissing U”) on the charts and a new album (“Sparks Fly”) in stores. In an exclusive interview with Fox All Access host Chris Leary, Miranda talks us about breaking the news to the single’s subject, tells us the strange story behind her very unexpected first kiss, and gives us her reaction to her two Teen Choice Awards nominations.
3OH!3 have a huge hit on their hands with “My First Kiss,” featuring Ke$ha! Can you believe Nathaniel Motte & Sean Foreman nabbed Ke$ha even before we heard her for the first time on Flo Rida’s single, “Right Round”? Little did they know what they were getting themselves into? Fox All Access host, Chris Leary, caught up with Nat of 3OH!3 to talk about their catchy song and naturally, he had to ask the guys about their first kiss. Nat couldn’t remember his, although Sean, who had braces back then, got lucky when a hot girl was dared to kiss him while playing Spin the Bottle. Perhaps Nat’s first smooch wasn’t so memorable, but he does remember meeting Ke$ha for the first time…..she roughed up the guys pretty good and Nat didn’t mind one bit. Seth Rogen has a reputation as being one of the nicest and funniest guys in Hollywood. But after making us laugh in movies like “Knocked Up” and “Observe And Report,” he’s taken on his darkest and most ambitious role yet: the title character in “The Green Hornet,” a big-screen remake of the Bruce Lee cult TV classic.
As if playing the Green Hornet wasn’t difficult enough — Rogen had to lose a lot of weight and gain a lot of muscle to play the part — he also co-wrote and produced the movie, too. We caught up with Rogen at Comic-Con and asked him how exhausting and daunting it was to take on such a big project.
Chef Gordon Ramsay is one of the busiest television personalities today. His shows are on all over the world. Of course, here in the USA, we are familiar with his shows, Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. Ramsay is now adding a new show to his resume, Masterchef, which he brings to FOX tonight.
The show is being called the “American Idol” of cooking, where he takes people from all different walks of life and turns them into chefs. The winner gets $250,000 and a chance to publish a cookbook. Chef Ramsay told us that Masterchef is creating a dream for these contestants
Hayley Williams of Paramore never thought she’d be where she’s at today. Moving from Mississippi to Nashville, never really fitting in at school, dealing with mean girls, crying to Mom about how she was being treated was no fun. Then, to her surprise, she discovered music. It gave her a place to go, to be different and with music she could be whoever she wanted to be because it was absolutely accepting. Now, Hayley could kiss all those mean girls goodbye because she’s on top of the world. The 2010 Honda Civic Tour kicked off last Friday and Hayley couldn’t be more excited! They have never been a part of something the size of this magnitude and they’re ready for it! Foxallaccess.com had a chance to catch up with Hayley before they hit the road last week to get an idea of what fans could expect at their shows this summer. Have you ever gone to a movie sequel with high hopes… and then felt like you’ve just lost 2 hours of your life that you can never get back? The dark alleys of Hollywood are littered with the remains of sequels that might have seemed like a good idea at the time… “Caddyshack 2”… “Grease 2”… “Superman 4”… and the more beloved a movie is, the worse the idea of a sequel can be. So Julie Andrews? Not really so bummed she didn’t get to do a “Mary Poppins” sequel. (Click on the audio bar to hear Julie Andrews)

Academy Award winner and director Oliver Stone is no stranger to controversy. He has directed many controversial films, including JFK, Nixon, and W. He also filmed a documentary with the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.
Today, Stone stirred up more controversy in an interview with The Sunday Times of London, when he allegedly said that public opinion was focused on the Holocaust because of “Jewish domination of the media.” “They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has f****d up United States foreign policy for years.”
Stone is currently working on a series for the Showtime cable network, “The Secret History of America,” which is a 10 part series which will focus on some of the darkest times in the 20th Century. The series will also take an in depth look into World War II dictators, Joseph Stalin and Adolph Hitler. In January, while promoting the series, Fox All Access.com was present when Stone specifically told the press, “Hitler is an easy scapegoat throughout history, and it’s been used cheaply, very cheaply.” (Click on the audio bar to hear Oliver Stone’s comment)

Later today, Stone tried desperately to retract his earlier comments with the following statement, “In trying to make a broader historical point about the range of atrocities the Germans committed against many people, I made a clumsy association about the Holocaust, for which I am sorry and I regret. Jews obviously do not control media or any other industry. The fact that the Holocaust is still a very important, vivid and current matter today is, in fact, a great credit to the very hard work of a broad coalition of people committed to the remembrance of this atrocity – and it was an atrocity.”
Nice try, Mr. Stone. As if we all didn’t already know that Jews obviously do not control the media or any other industry. Rupert Murdoch, who happens to own News Corp., the parent company of Fox All Access and FOX News, isn’t Jewish, and we’ll just leave it at that. Whether his attempt at a retraction was sincere or not, the damage has been done, Mr. Stone. You said what you said, and it won’t be easily forgotten.
In our opinion, it’s hard to comprehend that in 2010, anyone could even make those kinds of comments and comparisons. Maybe Oliver Stone’s next project should be a movie based on Adolph Hitler’s life, starring, you guessed it, Mel Gibson as Hitler, and former White House Correspondent, Helen Thomas as Eva Braun.
So was Stone’s “apology” (if you can call it that) sincere or not? Let us know what you think!
Warner Bros. dreams are still coming true at the box office. This weekend, for the second week in a row, Inception was #1, grossing $43,505,000. Christopher Nolan’s action adventure that revolves around dreams, continues to draw people in its second week of release. The film already marks the third highest grossing movie so far in DiCaprio’s successful film career, just trailing Catch Me If You Can and Titanic.
The Angelina Jolie action movie, Salt, came in at #2 taking in
$36,500,000. Salt ended Jolie’s two year hiatus from the big screen. Jolie and the film received very positive reviews. Sony Pictures was hoping for better results, however, the film should still be successful in the coming weeks due to word of mouth from those who have already seen and enjoyed the film.
Coming in at #3, was the Universal Pictures family/animated movie, Despicable Me, which made $24,100,000. In just three week of release, the film has already grossed $161,700,000,
making it the first big hit for Universal in a very long time.
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, starring Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel, came in at #4 making $9,685,000. The film has been a disappointment at the box office so far taking in only $42,643,000. Walt Disney Pictures was hoping the film would be one of the summer’s biggest hits, but it has instead turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments so far this year.
Finally coming in at #5, is the #1 movie of the year so far, Toy Story 3, which made another $9,030,000 totaling $379,529,000 so far. Aside from likely being the #1 movie of the summer, Toy Story 3 should receive many accolades when movie award season rolls around early next year.
Later this year, Bruce Willis will be back in action in the action movie Red, which is based on a comic book. Red is about a retired CIA Agent living a quiet life, who is forced to reassemble his old team when a hi tech assassin tries to kill him. The film also stars Academy Award Winners Dame Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman.
FOX All Access.com caught up with Bruce Willis at the 2010 Comic-Con in San Diego, CA and asked him about the movie. Willis told us there is more than just action to Red. (Click on the audio bar below to hear Bruce Willis)
