STARS TALK ABOUT THE LONG ROAD TO ‘WALL STREET’ SEQUEL

Twenty-three years ago, Michael Douglas gave an Oscar-winning performance as financial tycoon Gordon Gekko.  Can Douglas and director Oliver Stone recapture the magic of the first movie with the sequel, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”?  Prior to the film’s first screening at the Cannes Film Festival, we caught up with Stone and the movie’s stars — Douglas, Shia Labeouf, Josh Brolin, and Frank Langella — to find out why the timing was right to revisit Gekko and his world, and how all the pieces of the movie came together to create a new movie worthy of the “Wall Street” name.  “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” also stars Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan and opens Friday.
