NICOLAS CAGE FEELS GOOD ABOUT GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE
As many know, Nicolas Cage is a huge comic book fan. Throughout the years, Cage has wanted to play many comic book heroes. In fact, in the 1990′s, he was slated to play Superman under the direction of Tim Burton, but that project fell through. Finally, in 2007, Cage got his wish starring in the big screen version of the Marvel comics, Ghost Rider. However, the movie was critically panned and did not perform as well as it should have at the box office. Some time after the release of Ghost Rider, there was talk about a potential sequel or reboot of the 2007 film, but until now, the rumors had not been confirmed. We have now learned that filming has started on Ghost Rider:Spirit of Vengeance, and Cage is returning to his role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. We caught up with Cage, who clarified for us whether the film is a sequel or a re-boot, and described the vibe on the set. (Click on the audio player to hear Nicolas Cage)
