THE X FACTOR OF THE X-FILES

The X-Files was one of the most iconic sci-fi television shows in television history. Two movies were spun off from the series, and there are currently rumors that a third film will be made.

To this day, the television series, which concluded in 2002, can still be seen on cable television. The series has extremely loyal fans, who are actively campaigning to get a third film made. A while back, we spoke to X-Files stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who told us why they think people want to see more X-Files. Nice sound byte! I love Mulder and Scully. I love the X-Files. A third movie would make me (and so many other people) jump up and down and whoop like I’d won the lottery. Please, please, please, Powers that Be, make a third X-Files movie about alien invasion in 2012. We want explosions, we want aliens, we want Mulder and Scully leading the counter-attack! Most die-hard X-Philes have a few pet agenda items for the as yet hypothetical film, but I think we can all agree on the above. End the series with a big bang and the attention it deserves!

I would love to see a new X-Files film from the TenThirteen gang. (and also MillenniuM movie, for the matter.)

I want a third X-Files movie, and I want it so bad!

The X-Files is the best show that’s ever graced this earth. It deserves a proper ending. Though a few more movies after a third one would be even more awesome. I could watch Mulder and Scully running around doing their thing until they’re old and gray — and even after that (played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, obviously, as they ARE Mulder and Scully).

Please please please make third movie! There’s so much love out there for this phenomenal show and its fantastic characters! DO IT! (Please.)

X-Files 3 would be a dream come true and im not the only x-file fan in my family, i know at least a couple people that would end up going if they made a new/awesome film. Also i can see by the internet that people still talk about the show often. I think if they make a really good movie it has strong potential to well, let alone be an incredible movie. I have faith they can do somethng really good. Please do it Fox!!!!! We’ll be forever greatful and it would do the X-Files justice to go out on a high note.

I think if Chris Carter gets the opportunity to make XF3 he would take on 2012 , but not in the way most people would expect. He has a way of avoiding cliched scifi themes.

I am having serious X-Files withdrawl! I keep re-watching my dvds and reading fan fiction! Mulder and Scully are very much existent in MY universe!
Would love to see a 3rd movie- we need to know what happened to William- and did the super soldiers just vanish? LOL
