CLOVERFIELD SEQUEL NOT HAPPENING ANYTIME SOON
Since the release of Cloverfield in 2008, there have been talks of a sequel. However, hopes for a sequel are now looking bleak. Cloverfield director, Matt Reeves, who directed the scary and well received film, “Let Me In,” made the following statement to movieweb.com: “Cloverfield 2 will most likely not be the next movie because that’s still in the really nascent stages. We haven’t really had time to get together and talk about what that would be. That journey will probably be a bit longer, when we find that idea that we really get excited about. We’re still hatching the story.” Reeves’ next movie will be “The Invisible Woman.”
