As Fox’s hit medical drama “House” enters its eighth season, it will be doing so without one of its major players. Lisa Edelstein shocked both viewers and co-workers alike by announcing she would not return as Dr. Lisa Cuddy. Instead, she’s signed on for a recurring role on the CBS drama “The Good Wife.” Robert Sean Leonard, who plays Dr. James Wilson on “House,” told us that after spending seven years working with her, he’s certainly sad to see her go, but wishes her all the best nonetheless
The season premiere of “House” will air Monday, October 3 at 8/7 central on FOX.
Betty White has been working in radio, films, and television for 72 years. While most people would be enjoying retirement in their golden years, the career of 89-year-old White is still soaring. Her series, Hot In Cleveland, has made her more in demand for movies and television shows than she ever was. Sam Worthington stars in the new thriller “The Debt,” playing a ‘60s spy on the trail of a Nazi war criminal. Nick Cannon must feel like he is on top of the world. He is one of the best hosts on reality television, currently hosting America’s Got Talent. As if that’s not enough, he will co-star in the new Christina Applegate series, Up All Night, premiering this Fall on NBC. While his career is soaring, it doesn’t even compare to Cannon’s personal life. Cannon, who is married to music superstar Mariah Carey, recently became a parent to twins. Cannon still can’t believe his good fortune being married to Carey, and told us that he asks himself how he became so fortunate to land such a great soul mate. One of the most anticipated season premieres of the upcoming television is the season premiere of the FOX hit show, Glee. Fans of the show are dying to see what they can expect in the show’s third season. We caught up with Lea Michele and a few of her cast members, who told us that they are excited for the new season, and that the show will be similar to the first season. Zoe Saldana stars in the action flick, Colombiana. Saldana plays a character who is trained as an assassin and seeks revenge on those who murdered her parents when she was a child. Saldana has to perform many stunts in the film, and had many emotional scenes. After those long, emotionally and physically exhausting days on the set, Saldana told us that having a nice sip of wine and dining with her co-stars and film crew helped her unwind. Minka Kelly, who is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, stars in the ABC series, Charlie’s Angels. Most are calling the new series a reboot of the original iconic show that first aired in the 1970’s. Aside from having to look good in virtually every scene she is in, Kelly also performs some of her own stunts in the series, which she told us is her favorite thing to do.
The series premiere of Charlie’s Angels airs on September 22nd on ABC, which also marks the 35th anniversary of the date the original series first aired.
Matt Damon is one of Hollywood’s top leading men in films today. Damon has been nominated for an Academy Award for acting, and he won an Oscar for writing the film, Good Will Hunting. Damon has worked with some of Hollywood’s best, including Robert De Niro, George Clooney, Steven Spielberg, and Martin Scorsese.
