GEORGE CLOONEY: ‘DESCENDANTS’ DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY WAS HIGHER

George Clooney is a busy man.  He currently has two movies in theatres which have been receiving great reviews.  In The Ides of March, he plays a Presidential candidate, and in his other movie, The Descendants, Clooney plays a husband and father whose wife is gravely injured while with another man.  Both of these movies are the opposite of each other. Clooney told us that The Descendants was the harder acting job compared to The Ides of March (Click on the audio player to hear George Clooney)

Kristi Lauren: A Teenage Daughter Speaks

Fox’s new show, “I Hate My Teenage Daughter,” premieres tonight at 9:30/8:30c right after The X Factor.

Last Sunday, the main stars, Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran helped co-host the Fox All Access radio show.  Jaime and Katie play best friends Annie & Nikki on the show, and their daughters have grown up to become the “mean girls” they despised while they were in high school.  But while there teens’ behavior drives them crazy, Annie & Nikki have genuine love for their daughters and they want nothing but the best for them.

Fox All Access Producer Monica Guerra recently caught up with Kristi Lauren who plays Sophie, Annie’s daughter on the show.  She loves her character and finds the show to be truly funny!

CHRIS COLFER ‘STRIKES’ GOLD WITH MOVIE’S LIFE LESSONS

Glee star Chris Colfer is quietly becoming a Hollywood mogul. Aside from acting on Glee, Colfer has sold a pilot to The Disney Channel called The Little Leftover Witch, which is based on the children’s book by Florence Laughlin. Colfer is currently working on the project as a producer and writer.

In addition to those projects, he wrapped up filming the teen flick Struck by Lightning, which he stars in, produces, and wrote. Having all those responsibilities on a movie can’t be easy, especially for a young professional.  We spoke to Colfer and asked him what he learned about himself while making the film.

Struck by Lightning will be released in theatres sometime in 2012, but in the meantime, catch Colfer on Glee airing 8/7 central Tuesday nights on FOX.

JENNIFER MORRISON MADE RIGHT TURN AT ‘INTERSECTION’

Jennifer Morrison has found a great variety of roles throughout her career.  Of course, most will remember her from her co-starring role on the FOX medical drama, House. Morrison is now on another hit series, the ABC fantasy drama Once Up on A Time. She also gave a great performance in the film Warrior.

Morrison has been a working actress since 1994, and told us that from a young age, she always considered herself an actress.  However, it was not until she worked on her first film (Intersection, which starred Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, and Lolita Davidovich) that she had a major epiphany about acting, which she would carry with her to this day.

A new episode of Once Upon a Time airs Sunday night at 8/7 central on ABC.

TAIO CRUZ: A ‘HANGOVER’ WITHOUT THE HEADACHE

Taio Cruz is coming out with a new album, “TY.O,” which is expected for release on January 2, 2012.  The inspiration behind the album name?  Simple.  To make it easy for people to pronounce his name.  There’s been one too many times when people get it wrong and he shared a particular story that sticks out in his mind when he stopped by the Fox All Access studio.  He also talked to us about his new single, “Hangover,” which features Flo Rida and host Chris Leary did a good job of teasing Taio since he doesn’t even drink, yet he has a song called “Hangover.”  It was all in fun and Taio Cruz definitely had a good time.  Find out more about Taio — what scares him, what he’s never experienced before in his entire life, the most interesting people he’s ever met, etc.

Enjoy the video to “Hangover” – love it!

AMERICA’S NEWEST CELEBRITY IS….. THE RED SOLO CUP

The biggest star to hit pop culture status doesn’t come from a Beverly Hills bred family, isn’t involved in a scandalous divorce, and can’t be found spilling his guts on twitter and that’s because today’s newest celebrity is….the Red Solo Cup; and it’s all Toby Keith’s fault!   If you haven’t heard about the Red Solo Cup song that’s gone viral, turned into a bona fide single, and is the newest song to become immortalized on Glee, then check out the video below (Warning, viewing the video may unleash an outbreak of earworms causing uncontrollable humming and a deep unconscious desire to buy some sharpies and throw a kegger).

According to an interview “The Boot” did with Toby Keith, the song (penned by two sets of brothers), wasn’t originally intended to be pitched to Toby to record, but after hearing it and noticing the reaction people had, Toby decided to take it on, film a video for it and invite a bunch of celebrity friends to join in on the party. The video went viral, and four million plus views later, has just become the official second single off of Toby Keith’s newest album “Clancey’s Tavern”.

The song and video will have lovers and haters, but one thing is true, the song has struck an emotional cord with millions.  Perhaps it’s society’s way of saying enough of the protests, scandals, and financial woes, what we really want is just a good ‘ol fashion party.

If you’re diggin’ the Red Solo Cup song make sure you catch Chord Overstreet sing his version of the song on an all new episode of “Glee” Tuesday, December 6th at 8PM ET/PT on FOX.
