George Clooney is one of the most beloved movie stars in the world. His humor and warmth is as contagious in real life as it is on screen. Clooney has been nominated seven times for an Academy Award, which includes two this year for Best Actor for his role in The Descendants, and for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for the film The Ides of March. Today in Beverly Hills, California at the 84th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, Clooney explained that it’s an honor to be nominated, and it is good to spend time with friends and meet other actors and actresses.
