Now that “Friday Night Lights” is over, Taylor Kitsch is focusing on his movie career, which is going great so far. Not only does he have “Battleship” coming out in May, he’s got the starring role in Disney’s new movie, “John Carter.” Apparently, he didn’t realize how difficult “John Carter” would be. At 90 years old, Betty White is one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood. Not only does she star in the TV Land hit comedy series, Hot in Cleveland (which returns with all new episodes tomorrow night), White also stars as one of the voices in the box office hit, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. As if that isn’t enough work already, White will also be hosting a new reality series later this year on NBC called Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.

Jennifer Lawrence is becoming a fan favorite of movie audiences all over the world. Later this month, Lawrence will be seen in the much anticipated film, The Hunger Games. Last summer she was in X-Men: First Class playing Raven/Mystique. The film was very successful, and rumors of a sequel are swirling. Will Ferrell has made some really funny movies in his career, but perhaps the most beloved is his 2004 flick Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Ever since the release of that film, fans have been awaiting an Anchorman sequel. A few years ago there were rumors of a possible sequel, and when that didn’t come to fruition, fans were left up in arms.

Depp plays spirit warrior Tonto in “The Lone Ranger,” with Armie Hammer (“The Social Network,” “J. Edgar”) starring in the title role. Meryl Streep is one of the best actresses that the big screen has ever seen. Tonight, Streep won her third Academy Award for best actress, for her role as former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, in The Iron Lady. Streep, who previously won Oscars for her powerful performances in Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) and Sophie’s Choice (1982), told us after winning the Oscar that she was surprised to hear her named called. Octavia Spencer is on top of the world tonight, having won the Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in The Help. Spencer gave one of the best performances of the year in the film. However, she was almost not cast in the film, and it was Academy Award winning director Steven Spielberg who produced the film, who had a hand in getting her the role. In a career that has spanned 59 years, Christopher Plummer has given several amazing performances, including those in the films The Sound of Music and The Insider. Tonight, the legendary actor won his first Academy Award for best supporting actor, for his role in the Beginners. Plummer is 82 years old, making him the oldest actor to ever win an Oscar. After winning the award, Plummer told us backstage that winning the prestigious award isn’t a new beginning in his career, but a resurgence.
