HOWIE MANDEL “MOBBED” BY HIS INNER VOICES

We first met Howie Mandel in 1990 when he was out promoting his new entertaining animated kids show, Bobby’s World.  Little did we know that that 21 years later he would be joining us again in the FOX All Access studios to promote the Thanksgiving week return of his entertaining unscripted special “Mobbed”. Yes, a lot has changed in those 21 years; Howie has hosted his own syndicated TV show, he’s written a book, lost some hair, served as the game show maestro of “Deal or No Deal”, continued his stand up work, and earlier this year took to the judge’s table in ”America’s Got Talent”.  What hasn’t changed is Howie’s commitment and passion for entertaining large groups of people with his wit and laugh inducing view on life.

We invited Howie to help co-host this weekend’s FOX All Access radio show and share a little behind the scenes from “Mobbed”, as well as get his take on the holidays. All the holiday talk was making us feel nostalgic so we decided to bring up “Bobby’s World.” What we didn’t expect was the fun little “vocal mobbing” Howie would share from some of his famous “characters” – including Bobby.  It’s awesome!

To find out where you can hear Howie co-host FOX All Access, check out the “find us” section on the web. Then be sure to gather your family members for a special serving of “Mobbed” (lots of laughs and entertainment – no calories) when it airs  Wednesday, November 23rd at 9PM ET/PT on FOX (right after The X Factor).

TWITTER TRADE TUESDAY: IT’S NEW, IT’S RANDOM, AND IT’S FRINGE WORTHY

In our day to day activities here at FOX All Access Headquarters we come across some pretty awesome people and really random cool stuff.  Recently we got to thinking  “What if we took the random cool stuff and traded it for other random things with random people who would really appreciate the randomness of it all?”  Thus, Twitter Trade Tuesday was born.

To kick off Twitter Trade Tuesday, and to celebrate the upcoming season finale of FRINGE, we are offering up this random sugar cube box that is now a one of kind item thanks to Mr. John Noble’s fancy work with a sharpie.  Yes, that’s right, Dr. Walter Bishop himself autographed the box during our last interview with him, and now we want to trade it with YOU.

So here’s the deal: We’ll trade this Fringe worthy item with the person that posts the most creative photo of their ”frozen in amber”  pose on Twitter.

Just go to Twitter and post your most creative pic at #T3FAA by Thursday, May 5th at 12:00pm PT.  If we select your pic, we’ll send you a direct message on Friday, May 6th and arrange the trade.  It’s that easy.

Don’t forget to tune it this Friday, May 6th at 9pm ET/PT for the season finale of Fringe on FOX.

We’ll be doing more… So if Fringe isn’t for you, check back next Tuesday for our next  trade worthy item!

To trade, you must be a U.S. Resident and 18+.  No purchase necessary. We’re not responsible if you don’t respond to our direct message, so keep your eyes peeled. Judging of photo will be based on creativity and what makes us go “wow”.

‘RIO’ GRAND OPENING BRINGS THE STARS OUT IN BRAZIL

On a hot, humid Brazilian night, Fox All Access was on the “Blu” carpet for the world premiere of “Rio,” and as you would expect, the stars who lent their voices to the animated characters were out in full force, making things jus.

Jesse Eisenberg and Will.I.Am did a little bonding on the Blu carpet…

Anne Hathaway was her usual radiant self as she made the rounds.

Taio Cruz has a song in the movie, so he was there for the festivities.

PARACHUTE RIPS THROUGH A LIVE VERSION OF ‘SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN’

The band Parachute is getting ready to release their sophomore album, “The Way It Was.”  They admit they took their time with this one but it was well worth it because according to lead vocalist Will Anderson & drummer Johnny Stubblefield, they learned a lot about themselves.  Their first single, “Something To Believe In (Jeremiah),” is quickly climbing the charts and they’re proud of it.  The conception of the song dates all the way back to when the first album was finished.  As time went on, it evolved as the band started playing with it and they finally stumbled upon the arraignment they fell in love with.  They were even more excited to share an acoustic performance with us.  They stopped by the studio to serenade Fox All Access for a second time.  (The first time, when they played “She Is Love,” was the first time they’d ever done a radio interview, they told us, and the fact that they even remembered was pretty cool!)

Also, check out Parachute’s “Something To Believe In” Viral Video.
