After playing the acerbic and talented Dr. Gregory House for eight seasons, Hugh Laurie wraps up his part with the shows series finale on May 21st. Although he had a solid acting career before taking on House, Laurie understands audiences and maybe even filmmakers will have a hard time seeing the actor in any other type of role. Still, Laurie remains grateful for his House experience.
“The X Factor” is gearing up for its second season — in fact, initial auditions are already taking place. While Simon Cowell was pleased with many aspects of the show’s first season, he also saw a lot of opportunities to change things for the better in its sophomore year. He recently spoke to us about his desire to take “The X Factor” to a whole new level in Season Two .
Former American Idol runner contestant Adam Lambert is back on the music charts with his new single Better Than I Know Myself which is featured on his new album Trespassing which will be released May 15,
Lambert released his 2009 album For Your Entertainment, and it spun off the hit singles Whataya Want From Me and If I Had You. Lambert explored his poppy, glam rock side with his debut album, but and he sees Trespassing as an “evolution.” (Click on the audio player to hear Adam Lambert)

One of last year’s more inspired animated movies, Winnie the Pooh, succeeded on many creative fronts. Featuring songs from actress and She & Him member Zooey Deschanel, the project also enlisted Craig Ferguson and John Cleese as the voice talent (Jim Cummings voiced Winnie the Pooh).
Zooey Deschanel who currently stars in the FOX hit comedy series New Girl performed three songs in the movie which includes the Winnie the Pooh theme song, A Very Important Thing to Do and wrote the song So Long for the film was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
We spoke to Deschanel who claimed she was flattered they asked her to sing in the film and goes on to talk about how the whole process worked out.

Last Monday night, Fox’s hit “Bones” added another 300 bones to its cast: Booth and Brennan’s new baby! (Yes, as Brennan could tell you, although an adult human has 206 bones, babies are born with 300, some of which fuse together as the child grows.) Ever since they found out that Booth and Brennan were expecting, the show’s fans have been anxiously anticipating the blessed event, and wondering how the child will change the dynamic between the characters. Emily Deschanel thinks the baby is a welcome addition to the show. She finds it refreshing that, after seven and a half seasons, Brennan now faces a challenge she’s never dealt with before — and, as a new mother herself, she knows a lot of the show’s fans will be able to relate to what it’s like to be a new parent.
Stan Lee is a true legend in pop culture. In the last five decades, he created iconic comic book characters Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor and The Avengers, among them, all of which were made into movies.
Lee, who also executive produces these films, also makes great cameos in the films. We spoke to Lee today, and he told us that he can’t wait for audiences to check out his cameo in the upcoming film, The Avengers (in theaters May 4th). He will also be seen in the new Spider-Man movie, The Amazing Spider-Man (in theaters July 3rd).

Jonah Hill is one of the most talented comedic actors and writers in Hollywood today. So when it came to writing and producing the movie based on the 1980s television series, 21 Jump Street, he knew he had to find the right actor to be his partner in the film. He knew he had to find the right actor to play the role of his partner in the film. And when he came across Channing Tatum, who’s primarily known for his work in drama and action films, he knew he’d found the perfect foil.
Hill recalls that first meeting, when he realized Tatum would be a great fit for the film.

Piper Perabo is one of the most diverse actresses in television today. Perabo stars on the USA action series, Covert Affairs, which airs tonight 10/9. Her role on the show is considered one of the most demanding on television, as not only is she the star of the series, she also performs many stunts on the show.
Perabo performs martial arts on the show and also trains with a martial arts expert, and she knows that despite looking like she knows what she is doing in the fight scenes, she is no martial arts expert.
There aren’t a lot of classic TV shows that have fared well in big-screen remakes, but “Mission: Impossible” was a notable exception. Well-received by action film fans, the Tom Cruise reboot was a box office hit, and the series’ first two sequels have also performed well. Now, the fourth movie in the franchise is on its way, and a new trailer for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” has just been released.
