HOWIE ON HOWARD: STERN’S A GOOD CHOICE FOR ‘TALENT’

Radio show host Howard Stern is one of America’s most polarizing personalities in the entertainment business.  Aside from continuing to dominate radio with his radio show on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, he has had a hit movie at the box office and bestselling books. Stern now will have another credit to his amazing career later this summer when he joins the NBC hit reality series, America’s Got Talent, on the judging panel.

When NBC announced that Stern would join the show, many family advocate groups were appalled, claiming that Stern shouldn’t have been allowed to be on the series due to what some say is his outrageous behavior. We spoke to Howie Mandel, who is a judge on America’s Got Talent, and also hosts and produces the reality show Mobbed which returns in February on FOX. Mandel told us that he loves that Stern is going to be a judge on the show. Mandel also told us that he is a fan and admires Stern, and that NBC made the right choice by hiring him.

‘FINDER’S’ KEEPERS: MEET THE NEW GIRLS OF ‘THE FINDER’

Things get lost sometimes, and when they do, they need a finder.  And that’s exactly what Fox has got.  Last spring, “Bones” introduced us to Walter Sherman, a war vet who, after suffering a head injury, discovered he had an amazing — albeit eccentric — knack for finding those lost things.

Now, “The Finder” is a series of its own, and in last week’s premiere episode, we were introduced to Mercedes Masohn and Maddie Hasson.  Mahson’s character, Isabel Zambada, is a U.S. Marshal who often needs Sherman’s help.  Hasson plays Willa Monday, a conniving teen who’s lost her way and needs help finding herself.

Fox All Access host Chris Leary met up with the two ladies on the red carpet to talk about “The Finder,” Sherman’s amazing gift, and some other secrets viewers might find as they watch the show.

An all-new episode of “The Finder” airs this Thursday night on Fox, so after you find out who’s going to Hollywood on “American Idol,” stick around to see what this bunch needs to find.

HOWIE MANDEL HOPES THIS DOESN’T GO VIRAL

We all know that Howie Mandel has a few quirks, one of which is that he’s a huge germaphobe.  And if you need any further evidence of that, look no further than his reaction to Fox All Access host Chris Leary in this video.  We caught up with the ever-so-funny Mandel to talk “Mobbed” which airs on Wednesday nights right after American Idol on FOX.  This week’s episode focuses on a woman who has not only been divorced and hasn’t told her parents, but also has been keeping her 6-year old son a secret from them.  Can you imagine?  We can’t wait to see how this one turns out!  Chris Leary had a blast catching up with our “one and only friend” Howie and things got interesting fast.  We almost had Howie convinced he was being mobbed. Good times!  Make sure to tune into “Mobbed”  Wednesday night at 9/8c on FOX.
