Emily and Zooey Deschanel are very close these days. And not just as sisters — they’re both working on shows that are based on the 20th Century Fox lot in Los Angeles, just a few hundred feet away from each other. Emily, of course, has been starring on “Bones” for seven years, while Zooey has just finished up her first season of “New Girl.” Zooey made an appearance on “Bones” a few years ago, guest-starring as the cousin of Emily’s character. So now that Zooey’s got a show of her own, would Emily be interested in returning the favor? She told us they’ve talked about it.

Tonight’s episode of House marks Hugh Laurie’s second time behind the camera, and even though he is the series star, Laurie admits that directing is daunting and challenging. There are so many elements to directing, and leading a dedicated crew and making a slew of creative decisions calls for an innate multi-tasker. Even with all these responsibilities, directing, to Laurie, is simply “thrilling.”
“The X Factor” is gearing up for its second season — in fact, initial auditions are already taking place. While Simon Cowell was pleased with many aspects of the show’s first season, he also saw a lot of opportunities to change things for the better in its sophomore year. He recently spoke to us about his desire to take “The X Factor” to a whole new level in Season Two .
Now in its 23rd season, The Simpsons continues to build on its monumental fan base, and its worldwide fans have their share of favorite Simpson characters. A new episode of The Cleveland Show airs Sunday 9:30/8:30 central on FOX
After eight great seasons of television, the FOX medical drama, House, will have its series finale on May 21. Before the series aired, Hugh Laurie wasn’t very well known in the USA. But once the show hit the small screen, it turned Laurie into a major television star, and House has always had a very loyal fan base. One of last year’s more inspired animated movies, Winnie the Pooh, succeeded on many creative fronts. Featuring songs from actress and She & Him member Zooey Deschanel, the project also enlisted Craig Ferguson and John Cleese as the voice talent (Jim Cummings voiced Winnie the Pooh).
Zooey Deschanel who currently stars in the FOX hit comedy series New Girl performed three songs in the movie which includes the Winnie the Pooh theme song, A Very Important Thing to Do and wrote the song So Long for the film was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
We spoke to Deschanel who claimed she was flattered they asked her to sing in the film and goes on to talk about how the whole process worked out.

Last Monday night, Fox’s hit “Bones” added another 300 bones to its cast: Booth and Brennan’s new baby! (Yes, as Brennan could tell you, although an adult human has 206 bones, babies are born with 300, some of which fuse together as the child grows.) Ever since they found out that Booth and Brennan were expecting, the show’s fans have been anxiously anticipating the blessed event, and wondering how the child will change the dynamic between the characters. Emily Deschanel thinks the baby is a welcome addition to the show. She finds it refreshing that, after seven and a half seasons, Brennan now faces a challenge she’s never dealt with before — and, as a new mother herself, she knows a lot of the show’s fans will be able to relate to what it’s like to be a new parent.
