SETH MACFARLANE IN TOON WHEN HE WAS JUST TWO

Seth MacFarlane, one of television’s top voices, produces and writes for his shows American Dad, The Cleveland Show, and, of course, Family Guy. But MacFarlane still has more animation roads to cross, as he’s currently developing a new version of The Flintstones. It’s no surprise that this self proclaimed TV junkie (he’s a huge fan of legendary producer Norman Lear) has wanted to immerse himself in animation since he was just two years old. DAVID BOREANAZ: ‘BONES’ BABY BRINGS CHANGES

Usually, birth announcements go out after a baby’s born, but in this case, we can tell you that Booth and Brennan’s baby girl will definitely be born on Monday night., as “Bones” moves to a new night and time.  The newest addition to the Jeffersonian crew’s extended family — no doubt inspired by Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy — will certainly shake things up a bit, as her parents try to balance raising a new baby with their crime-solving activities.  When we spoke to David Boreanaz, he told us the baby will definitely affect the dynamic between the “Bones” characters in new and interesting ways.

“Bones” returns to Fox this Monday night at 8/7c.

‘RAISING HOPE’ STARS GETTING LOVE FROM FANS

There are different methods of measuring a TV show’s success. While the media is usually obsessed with ratings numbers, a show’s impact can be tracked in other ways, too. Fox’s second-year comedy “Raising Hope,” with its quirky characters, outrageous humor, and heart, has been gradually cultivating an extremely devoted fan base. And those fans haven’t been shy about letting two of the show’s stars, Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt, know how they feel about the show.

“Raising Hope” airs Tuesday nights at 8/7c on Fox.

BEING AN UNKNOWN HELPED HUGH LAURIE PLAY ‘HOUSE’

As you’ve no doubt heard, the “House” crew will hang up its scrubs this May and call it a day after eight seasons.  Hugh Laurie, who stars in the Fox medical drama, was a well-known comic actor in the UK, but he was a relative unknown in the USA, where audiences had only seen him in a handful of supporting roles.  In fact, when Laurie went in to audition, executive producer Bryan Singer had never heard of him.  However, Laurie thinks that lack of awareness worked to his advantage, because it allowed viewers to buy into the character, rather than the actor playing him.  (Click on the audio player to hear Hugh Laurie)

‘HOPE’S’ CLORIS LEACHMAN: THE REAL GOLDEN GIRL

Betty White might be grabbing more headlines, but even her illustrious career can’t compare to her friend and former co-star, Cloris Leachman.  Not only has the former beauty queen won an Academy Award, but she also holds the record for most Emmys won by an actor, with nine.  And at age 85, Leachman’s still working hard.  These days, she’s on the Fox comedy “Raising Hope,” and her performance as “Maw-Maw” has been a hit with fans and critics alike.  When we talked to her “Raising Hope” co-stars, Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt, we found out that Leachman doesn’t save the funny for when the camera’s on (she’s just as outrageous off camera!), and they have plenty of admiration for her work.

Check out a new episode of “Raising Hope,” tonight at 9:30/8:30c on FOX.

‘TOUCH’: A SHOW KIEFER SUTHERLAND HAD TO DO

Last time Kiefer Sutherland did a TV show, things went pretty well, wouldn’t you say?  Eight gripping seasons of “24,” one of the best series of the 21st century so far.  After he finished, Kiefer wasn’t looking to jump back into TV… in fact, he wasn’t even planning on it – until he saw the script for “Touch.”

It’s an interesting concept… Kiefer’s playing a single father whose son has never said a word.  Instead, he “talks” through numbers, and you’ll be amazed at how things play out.

Like Kiefer said, this is a special show… watch the sneak preview of “Touch,” tomorrow night after “American Idol” on Fox.
